Pack biologically and environmentally friendly

Press review – NaKu organic products are in the Kronen Zeitung! On November 15, an article about us appeared in the Vienna edition of the Krone am Sonntag. Our press release about the plastic bag ban* on October 27th aroused the interest of the environmental department of the Kronen Zeitung and sent a photographer to us two weeks later.

In the office we introduced him to our bags and showed them the different stages of rotting. Many photos were taken, but of course only one of them made it into the print edition for reasons of space. It turned out to be Astrid Ramos with two NaKu bags in her hand. It was super nice for everyone and a great change!

* Information on the Austrian plastic bag ban: Plastic bags have been banned in Austria since the beginning of 2020, which means that plastic bags may no longer be given to customers. However, bags that were already ordered or in stock could still be handed out until the end of 2020. This transitional period expired on January 1, 2021 and conventional plastic bags were finally banned. Excluded from the ban on plastic bags are plastic bags that are less than 15 µm thick, are made from renewable raw materials and can be composted at home.
