The video content of the production video: The bioplastic replacement cartridge is inserted into the freemee cosmetics cream jar made of fine wood and glass for the natural cosmetic cream. The natural cream is contained in this exchangeable cartridge made of bioplastics. If the cream is empty, the bioplastic cartridge is simply replaced, the actual cream jar, which is made of wood and glass, continues to be used.

What are the requirements for the replacement cartridge made of bioplastics?

Natural cream packaged naturally - as mentioned in the introduction, the replacement cartridge for the natural cream from freemee cosmetics is made of natural plastic or bioplastic. The actual, reusable cream jar is made of high-quality materials - made of fine wood and glass. Since we are in the luxury segment with this natural cosmetic from freemee cosmetics, not only the actual cream jar, but also all components of the bioplastic exchangeable cartridge must be very precisely matched to each other and also be easy to use. This applies in particular to those bioplastic components that move within the cream cartridge or must also seal when rotated. Originally it was planned to produce the five individual bioplastic components of the natural cream replacement cartridge from a bioplastic material. However, since the requirements for the individual bioplastic components are very different, we decided in the course of product development and in the course of the test runs to use three different bioplastic material variations.

In this video we explain everything in detail and Hannah and Patrick from freemee cosmetics also report on how they came up with the idea of making a natural cream themselves and what their desired packaging concept should be like.
