Now new: The NaKu barrier tape is compostable and recyclable. Everyone knows them because the purpose of barrier tapes is very diverse. Whether at music events/open airs/music festivals, sporting events, road construction, construction or rescue organizations - a barrier tape is a quick and easy way to mark and cordon off areas in the shortest possible time.
After use, barrier tapes should be collected and disposed of appropriately. Unfortunately, this does not always happen, and parts of barrier tape often remain in nature. With conventional barrier tapes made from petroleum plastic, this poses a problem for our environment, microplastics are produced. These small petroleum-plastic particles are not only ingested by animals when they eat, microplastics entering the soil and water also pose a health risk to us humans.
The clear advantage of the NaKu barrier tape made of bioplastics, in addition to the fact that it is made from renewable/vegetable raw materials, is that it can be decomposed. If the NaKu barrier tape made of bioplastics remains in nature, it rots, there are no microplastics entering the ground, as is the case with conventional barrier tapes made of petroleum plastic.
