VIENO's high-quality organic sunflower oil is bottled in Austria, in the Weinviertel region. Each batch is LVA-controlled, and the packaging is completely petroleum-plastic-free*.

The VIENO organic sunflower oil – quality and packaging
In order to keep healthy cooking oils with a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids fresh for a long time, the material of the packaging or bottle is crucial. PLA packaging can more than stand up to comparison with PET bottles.
A current study by a research team at the University of Vienna was carried out also showed quality advantages. This study came to the conclusion that bioplastic bottles made of PLA not only protect cooking oil from oxidative spoilage to a similar extent as PET bottles, but also that fewer substances that impair taste and smell are formed.
