NaKu uses starch from corn from European agriculture for the production of the garment bag. Natural plastic feels pleasantly soft and velvety to the touch and is still tear-resistant.
Our natural plastic is the most environmentally friendly alternative for our climate. It causes only about half as much CO2-Emissions like conventional plastic. This is because the CO stored in our plastic2 was taken up by the plants via photosynthesis and they use this CO2 give back at the end of life. So the raw material itself is CO2 neutral. However, CO falls through production and transport2-Emissions that also occur with conventional plastic.
For environmental protection and health, we do not add any harmful substances such as bisphenol A, antimony or phthalates.
