The NaKu plant bag is part of a reforestation project in Kenya, where 30.000 trees can currently be planted thanks to the project. The plant bag is made of bioplastic and was developed together with HBLFA Gartenbau Schönbrunn. It ensures a permanent water supply for the roots and thus promotes growth. In addition, the bioplastic decomposes after a short time without leaving any pollutants. At just €2 for 100 trees, the bag is also extremely cheap. The project provides development aid in countries of the Global South that are particularly suffering from the consequences of the climate crisis.
