Don't call me plastic!
The NaKu information campaign
We've launched a campaign about the plastic bag ban to inform all affected businesses. Numerous inquiries have shown us that many companies are unsure what is now permitted and what is prohibited under the Austrian plastic bag ban. The campaign officially launched yesterday. "Don't call me plastic!" is our campaign slogan. We also sent out a press release to announce the launch, which you can read here.

We've also created a dedicated page with information about the plastic bag ban . Plastic bags will be banned starting next year. Our NaKu bags are exempt. To ensure everyone understands the reasons behind the ban and the advantages of natural plastic, you can now read all about it on this page. It's concise and easy to understand.
What do we want to achieve with the campaign? Not everyone knows about the plastic bag ban or does not know what is still allowed and what is not. So we want to educate people about it. NaKu bags are the best alternative to conventional plastic bags because they are still allowed. Why? Because natural plastic is renewable and compostable and therefore also environmentally friendly.
