A very interesting seminar at the food testing institute

A very interesting seminar took place on November 22nd, 2023, at which our managing director Johann Zimmermann also gave a lecture as a speaker. The seminar, entitled “FCM & Sustainability”, was organized by LVA GmbH and focused on the challenges and requirements in the food packaging sector related to sustainability.

The content of the seminar, as presented by the LVA, highlighted the increasing demand for sustainability and environmental protection,
especially in the context of food packaging. This presented the complex task of reconciling sustainability requirements with food safety regulations. This created a challenging tension for the food packaging industry.

A key theme was the need for the packaging materials industry to quickly develop innovative and environmentally friendly materials to meet increased demands. The question of whether it is possible to fully meet these diverse requirements was intensively discussed.

The seminar provided a valuable platform for exchanging insights and ideas in the context of the challenges the industry needs to overcome in the area of ​​sustainability and food packaging.
