NaKu and the Ant Project by Julia Bugram
NaKu is involved in an art project
Artist Julia Bugram visited us to pick up more ants made of bioplastic for her art project. In this art project "Watch out for ants!" she uses ants made of our natural plastic and wants to use her project to encourage people to explore their shared living space.
For us, this art project is extremely exciting! We otherwise use our bioplastics to produce bio-sacks and bio-bottles. Making small ants from bioplastics was a great challenge and change for us too.
The "Watch out for ants!" project attracts a lot of attention from residents and passers-by and is intended to lure them through the shared habitat. The small, brightly colored ants from NaKu made of natural plastic in striking colors are a key element in discovery. The ant trails start at different places and then converge at a central location to form an anthill. How the ants' path goes from the starting point to the end point is entirely up to the imagination of the participants.
More information about Julia Bugram's ant project can be found on her website right here.
