NaKu at TEDx Klagenfurt 2024
An event full of interesting conversations – TEDx Klagenfurt 2024
After the successful Long Night of Research that took place recently, we had the pleasure of participating in TEDx in Klagenfurt last weekend. This event offered us the perfect opportunity to present our innovative products and sustainable solutions as well as information about bioplastics to a wide audience.
We were there with a variety of information and visual materials, including:
- The NaKu bioplastic cycle, which illustrates the entire life cycle of our products from production to recycling or composting.
- Sight glasses with the different composting stages of our NaKu bottle made from quickly renewable, plant-based raw materials. These bottles are not only environmentally friendly, but also a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic bottles.
- Illustrative material for the production of NaKu organic bags based on European corn starch, which are compostable according to DIN 13432.
- Product samples like the new cheese sleeping bag and much more!
- A special highlight was our refreshment bar. Visitors could fill their own water into our compostable NaKu PLA/rPLA bottles and take it home. These bottles are not only practical but also a step toward a more sustainable future.
We were overwhelmed by the number of questions and the tremendous interest we received. While many were already familiar with our organic bags, the NaKu bottle made from bioplastic (based on sugar) was still a novelty for most. It was fascinating to see how surprised the visitors were that bottles made from plant-based raw materials can already be produced as an alternative to PET/rPET bottles, which are also compostable and do not produce persistent microplastics when decomposed.
We would like to thank everyone who came by and supported us. Your interest and questions motivate us to continue developing innovative and sustainable solutions.
About the TEDx
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. A TEDx event combines TED Talks videos and live speakers to create in-depth discussions and connections. These local, self-organized events are referred to as TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidelines for the TEDx program, but the individual TEDx events are self-organized.
