Video content Production of the NaKu PLA/rPLA bottle from bioplastic
In this video, we show you the fascinating production steps of the NaKu PLA/rPLA bottle . Made from 100% natural plastic (PLA), the NaKu bio-bottle also already consists of 20% recycled PLA. Simply put: It is made from plants and lactic acid.
Production of the preform using injection molding: We begin with the production of the preform, the blank that will later be formed into the bottle.
Quality control: The preforms undergo strict quality controls to ensure they meet high standards.
Inflating to the finished bottle: Finally, the preform is heated and inflated in a special machine until it takes the shape of a finished bio-bottle.
The NaKu PLA/rPLA bottle is made from 100% plant-based raw materials and contains an additional 20% recycled PLA. It is free of petroleum and harmful plasticizers such as bisphenol A, phthalates, or antimony. This bottle is not only compostable, but also environmentally friendly and safe for contact with food.
NaKu bio-bottles – PLA/rPLA bottles are compostable according to DIN 13432! Furthermore, the NaKu sugar bottle – PLA/rPLA bottle made of bioplastic – is 7% lighter than conventional petroleum-based plastic! This also saves CO2 during transport, in addition to all other environmentally friendly aspects.
Health & Cooking Oils: Are PET bottles harmful? A new study from the University of Vienna has found that PET bottles can release carcinogenic benzene into cooking oil over time. In comparison, the NaKu bottle is made of completely natural materials, so no harmful substances can leach from the bottle.
