The ERFA series of events has once again proven itself to be an important platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge in the food sector and in the area of packaging in the food industry. The aim of this series is to network food companies, promote knowledge transfer and enable open dialogue. New knowledge was acquired through specialist lectures and discussions that should strengthen the companies economically.
Jointly organized by the Food Cluster Upper Austria / Business Upper Austria and Innovation Salzburg GmbH, with the support of the State of Salzburg, the event took place on February 26, 2025.
The focus was on the highly topical subject of "Innovative packaging solutions in the food sector". In a specialist presentation, NaKu examined the topic of "Biopolymers in the food industry" and showed how sustainable packaging solutions can have a positive impact on the environment and the profitability of companies. The presentation and the valuable exchange with the participants were very well received.
