We are especially pleased to have supported the Koralpenlauf race with our environmentally friendly barrier tape made from bioplastic . We are particularly delighted with the positive feedback we have received – you can read it at the end of this post. But first, here is some information about the Koralpenlauf itself.
About the Koralpenlauf
According to the Koralpenlauf website: " The Koralpenlauf originated in 2015 from the idea of breathing new life into the sleepy mountain village of St. Oswald / Eibiswald. Over the years, it has developed into a popular running event with a charitable background, which has taken place 5 times in a row."
After a creative break, the Koralpenlauf is back. With a new management team, new ideas and a promise: The implementation of this great running event in the usual high quality, and that regionally and sustainably! As a unique event in beautiful Southwest Styria, the Koralpenlauf offers breathtaking scenery and optimal conditions for the participants.
Demanding, but incredibly idyllic running and walking routes, a warm atmosphere and the best entertainment - that says everything about the Koralpenlauf!
The ARGE Koralpenlauf, as a non-profit organization, also looks out for those who are less fortunate in life. On the one hand, €5 per participant is donated to regional social projects; on the other hand, since 2019 there has been the Koralpenlauf Emergency Relief Fund, which provides quick and uncomplicated assistance to people in need.

" We used it for the 1-hectare meadow parking lot to park arriving cars as efficiently as possible. It's worth noting that the barrier tape was absolutely convincing. Its stability, even over long stretches and in stronger winds, is in no way inferior to plastic tape. It doesn't sag even at higher temperatures, and in this respect, I give it 5 stars (out of a maximum of 5). I can't comment on its weather resistance, as we had perfect weather. One small, personal observation to conclude: After using plastic tape to cordon off kilometers of area, your hands get raw. This didn't happen with the Naku tape , as it felt completely different (a bit grippier and at the same time softer against the skin)."
Subsequently, we used it to divide the small children into groups at the start. Here too, it was stable enough and did what it was supposed to do – block off the groups.

A “small, personal detail” was that the NaKu band felt different on the skin, “more grippy and at the same time more supple,” which meant that the hands did not become sore, as can be the case with conventional petroleum-based plastic bands.
