To produce the starch, we only use GMO-free corn from European agriculture. For health and environmental protection, we do not add any harmful substances such as bisphenol A, antimony or phthalates.
energy consumption in production
The production of paper bags requires significantly more energy than the production of organic carrier bags made of bioplastic. In addition, the paper production process - with all its additives, bleaching and drying processes - requires an enormous amount of water.
Fast-growing raw material
The starch needed to produce the organic carrier bags is obtained from fast-growing corn, while paper is made from slow-growing trees.
Excluded from the plastic bag ban
As a lightweight, biodegradable bag that is thinner than 15 µm, it may continue to be sold by retailers.
Natural plastic based on plant-based raw materials
For the production of the pharmacy bag, NaKu uses starch from corn from European agriculture. Natural plastic feels pleasantly soft and velvety to the touch and is still tear-resistant.
Compostable
The natural plastic is compostable according to DIN standard EN 13432 - TÜV certified. In industrial compost, the composting process of the pharmacy bag takes about 3-5 days. In home compost, if it is turned over at regular intervals, it takes 9-12 weeks in warm weather for our pharmacy bag to be composted.

Furthermore, NaKu PLA/rPLA bottles and PLA/rPLA cans made from natural plastic are 7% lighter than conventional petroleum-based plastic! This not only saves CO2 during transport, but also contributes to its overall environmental benefits . This weight advantage is even more significant compared to glass bottles or cans.
The NaKu bottle, made from plant-based raw materials, is available in various standard sizes. For larger quantities required in your pharmacy, we can also produce bottles with your individual geometry, as well as coloring. Sleeving is possible even for smaller quantities. Due to the natural raw material , NaKu bottles and cans are not suitable for hot filling and are not dishwasher safe. The maximum operating temperature is 55°C. In many cases, depending on the contents, wiping or warm washing is sufficient for reuse. If this is not possible, thermal recycling only releases as much CO2 as the plant absorbed or bound during its growth. This represents a further advantage compared to the thermal recycling of bottles or cans made from petroleum-based plastics.

The NaKu bio-test tube/bio-sample tube made of bioplastic is the ideal environmentally friendly container for a wide range of applications - completely without petroleum plastic! It contains no plasticizers such as bisphenol A, phthalates or antimony and is made of 100% natural plastic (PLA), or in other words: from rapidly renewable plants and lactic acid.
The bio test tubes/bio sample tubes are very durable due to the particularly thick material. The specially shaped, wide neck makes it easier to fill them with liquids or measuring sticks. The wide rim means the bio tubes can be optimally hung in the stand. The screw cap with tamper-evident ring allows the bio test tube to be optimally sealed.
The PLA test tubes/sample tubes are not dishwasher safe! The maximum operating temperature is 55°C.
Test tubes are usually disposed of and incinerated after use. Here, the NaKu bioretest tube offers a further advantage: During incineration, only as much CO2 is released as the plant absorbed or bound during its growth.
